EHRI-ERIC Transnational Seminar: Holocaust Memoirs – Who Will Write Their History?
The Vienna Wiesenthal Institute for Holocaust Studies together with the Terezín Memorial are organizing an EHRI-ERIC transnational seminar on Holocaust ego-documents and memoirs from 30 November to 3 December 2026, including a public discussion with Alica Frühwaldová.

The Vienna Wiesenthal Institute for Holocaust Studies, together with the Terezín Memorial (a partner institution of EHRI-CZ), is holding a transnational seminar from 30 November to 3 December 2026, initiated by an EHRI-ERIC working group focusing on Holocaust ego-documents. The seminar builds upon existing research on memoir literature.

EHRI-CZ cordially invites you to a public discussion taking place on 30 November from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Terezín Memorial.
Monika Vrzgulová (Slovak Academy of Sciences) will be in conversation with Alica Frühwaldová about her book The Loves I Have Lost (O koľko lásky som prišla).
